Admission Criteria Document screening and interview
Eligibility Undergraduate 1) Foreigners whose parents are not Korean and who have graduated or are expected to graduate from high school either in Korea or abroad, or that of equivalent academic achievement.
2) Foreigners who have graduated from elementary school, middle school, high school and college outside of Korea regardless of parents' nationality.
Undergraduate Transfer 1) Foreigners whose parents are not Koreans or foreigners who have graduated from elementary school, middle school, high school and college outside Korea regardless of parents' nationality.
2) Foreigners who have completed at least 1-year (2 semesters) or 2-years (4 semesters) of courses in Korea or at other universities abroad with at least 35 or 65 units, respectively.
3) Foreigners who have graduated from colleges in Korea or other colleges abroad (including students who are expected to graduate) with at least 65 units/credits.
※ Students who have graduated from colleges without an accrediting system cannot apply.
※ Applicants can select their major regardless of their former university major. The units obtained from the applicant's former university will be evaluated and credited by the department head.
※ Application is limited in those who have experienced a disciplinary punishment from a former university.
※ Registered CBNU students (current students, temporarily-withdrawn students, expelled students) cannot apply.
Language Proficiency Normal 1) Applicants with TOPIK Grade 3 or above or students who have completed Level 4 Korean classes at the Korean Language Education Center
2) Applicants of the College of Arts(except Industrial Design) can apply without the above mentioned language proficiency qualifications if they are capable of "taking classes in Korean."
English Track (Major : Jimmy Carter School of International Studies , Engineering Science) 1) Engineering Science: TEPS 600(New TEPS 330), IELTS 5.5, iBT TOEFL 71(CBT 197, PBT 530)
2) Jimmy Carter School of International Studies : TEPS 600(New TEPS 330), IELTS 5.5, iBT TOEFL 80
3) For all applicants to English Track: Applicants from English speaking countries can substitute official English exam scores with their secondary school diploma.
※ English speaking countries include the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa, Ireland, the Philippines, India and etc.

4) Applicants of the College of Arts should submit the appropriate documents, if necessary, that proves the applicant's qualifications and/or experience for the selected department/major (ex: degree certifications, awards, performance experience, portfolio.).

Every student must subscribe insurance during their time of stay. If not, they will be excluded from potential scholarship recipients (student should renew their insurance before expiration date, if you join National health insurance, you must need submit certificate of insurance every Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct)
※ Only students who have submitted their TOPIK score can apply for academic scholarships.
Only students who have submitted their certificate of CBNU Language course completion by can apply for Link scholarships.
※ The scholarship criteria is based on Spring 2019. It is subject to change in Fall 2019.
